The River Ride is Saturday, October 6th, 2018 – Rain or Shine!

Routes open at 9:00AM.

All routes start and end at at the Danville-Pittsylvania County Habitat for Humanity ReStore, 2805 Riverside Drive.  There is more than ample parking in the parking lot.  If you’re coming to Danville, be sure to look for the Dairy Queen on Riverside Drive.  The ReStore is located in the building behind the DQ, between the Dan River Church and the Salvation Army Thrift Store.

Registration:  On site registration and packet pick up opens at 8am.


Goody bags are included for all registered cyclists.

Rest Stops and SAG

Rest stop support and SAG support will be provided on the 30, 50 and 80 mile routes.

At each rest stop and at the finish line, you will be greeted by friendly volunteers offering water, Powerade, and snacks to keep you fueled for the ride!

  • 35-mile route: 2 rest stop
  • 65-mile route: 3 rest stops
  • 100-mile route: 4 rest stops


There is plenty of free parking available in the parking lot at the ReStore.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed to greet cyclists at rest stops and to drive SAG vehicles along the routes to assist any cyclists who need a break or a bike repair.
